  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ¼ cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
  • ½ Juice of lemon
  • 1 tbsp 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Cooked linguine or crusty bread (optional, for serving)

Method
 

  1. Heat butter and oil: In a large pan, melt butter with olive oil on medium heat.
  2. Add garlic: Stir in a bunch of mince made garlic and red chili. Silence for about 1 minute until aromatic.
  3. Cook shrimp: Add shrimp to a pan in a layer. Cook for about 2 minutes until it turns pink. Flip and cook another 1-2 minutes.
  4. Deglaze pan: Pour into white wine and lemon juice, scrapping any bits from the pan. Boil for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
  5. Finish with parsley: sprinkle with chopped parsley. Weather with salt and pepper to taste.
